Specialty Grade, From Farms We Can Trace

We only buy specialty coffee: green coffee that scores 82 points or more on the Specialty Coffee Association's 100-point scale. That score tells you the beans were carefully grown, picked ripe and processed well. We buy through specialist importers who have direct, long-term relationships with the farms and cooperatives they work with, so every coffee is traceable to where it was grown.

Hand Roasted on Dorothy and Penny

Every bag we have ever sold has been roasted on one of our two restored vintage Probat roasters. Dorothy is a 1950s Probat UG22, and Penny is a Probat LG12 we found in Berlin. We roast every batch by hand, to order, and every bag carries its roast date. Order before 9am on a working day and we dispatch the same day.
