FAQ

How fresh is your coffee when it arrives?

Every order is roasted to order in our Axminster roastery and dispatched within seven days of roasting. Most orders arrive within 24 to 48 hours of being roasted.

Do you deliver through the letterbox?

Yes. Our standard bag size is designed to fit through a UK standard letterbox, so you do not need to be home to receive your coffee.

Can I choose the grind for my coffee?

Yes. You can pick whole bean, espresso, filter, French press, AeroPress or stovetop grind at checkout.

How does a coffee subscription work?

Pick your blend, grind and frequency (weekly, fortnightly or monthly). We roast and post fresh coffee on your chosen schedule. You can pause, skip or cancel any time from your account.

Where is The Coffee Factory based?

We are an independent specialty roaster based in Axminster, Devon. All our coffee is roasted in house.

Are your coffees award winning?

Yes. Our coffees have won multiple Great Taste Awards and we source SCA scored specialty grade beans.

Do you offer decaf coffee?

Yes. Our decaf range uses the Swiss Water process for chemical free decaffeination.

What is the best coffee for a beginner?

Black Bear is our most popular blend and works well across espresso, filter and French press, making it the easiest starting point.
