The Discovery Trial is a way to experience the Roasters Club Discovery subscription before committing to a regular plan. You receive the same quality — a handpicked single-origin coffee scoring 84+ SCA points, roasted medium-light to medium — with the flexibility of a trial arrangement.
What types of flavour can I expect?
Discovery coffees range from chocolatey and fruity to boozy and floral, depending on the origin selected that month. Every coffee comes from a specific country, region, and farm, showcasing what makes that origin distinctive.
Who selects the coffee each month?
Our in-house roasting team selects each month's coffee based on quality and seasonal availability. All Discovery coffees score a minimum of 84 SCA points.
Is this suitable for espresso or filter brewing?
Both. Grind type is selectable at checkout. Discovery coffees are roasted lighter, so filter and pour-over brewing tends to highlight their complex origin flavours most clearly — though they work well as espresso too.
What happens after the trial?
You can continue as a regular Discovery subscriber, switch to a different plan, or cancel — all manageable from your account at any time.
