Are the Seasonal Decaf pods compatible with my Nespresso machine?

These pods are compatible with all Nespresso Original Line machines including the Essenza, Pixie, Citiz, Inissia and Lattissima ranges. They are not compatible with Nespresso Vertuo Line machines.

How is the caffeine removed from the Seasonal Decaf pods?

We use the Mountain Water process — a chemical-free method that uses pure mountain water to remove caffeine molecules while keeping the coffee's natural flavour compounds intact. You get a full-flavoured cup without the caffeine.

What does the Seasonal Decaf pod taste like?

This Honduras Strictly High Grown decaf delivers a clean, flavoursome cup with good body and complexity. The beans mature slowly at altitude, developing intricate flavours that survive the decaffeination process intact.

How many pods come in a pack?

This decaffeinated lot is an SHG blend made up of cherries from the exceptional growing region of La paz, Marcala. Strictly High Grown cherries mature slowly in cooler environments due to the elevation; resulting in denser beans with complex flavour profiles. This lot utilises the mountain water decaffeination process, using pure mountain water.
The process begins with a chemical analysis to determine optimal conditions, and then the beans are steamed and prepared for extraction. The extraction process is carried out under controlled conditions of flow, temperature, pressure and vacuum, using a water based saturated solution that removes the caffeine by absorbing the caffeine molecules, while keeping the coffees flavour compounds in place.
