People sorting coffee beans with 'Buena Onda'

Buena Onda means “Good vibes”, and thats what this washed lot from San Andres, Honduras brings.

San Andres is part of Lempira department in the west of Honduras; where smallholder farms sit amongst 12.4kha of natural forest, growing their crops alongside Pines and Oaks, taking full advantage of the natural shade provided and rich volcanic soil. This regional washed blend comes from smallholder farms ranging from 0.5 to 20 hectares in size, where they still employ the traditional coffee processing methods of hand pulping and sun drying on raised patios. Farms in San Andres cultivate many specialty varieties including Catui, Cattura and Ihcafe 90, which combined with the high altitudes and ideal growing conditions, have helped cement Honduras reputation as a specialty coffee producing nation.
