We are excited to introduce this particular coffee sourced from Karst Organics, who are focused on working directly with farmers in East Timor to make sure that the farmers receive the best possible return on the coffee they produce, a goal that we share. East Timor is small country with a population of only 1.3 million people. It is the world’s second youngest nation state. As this young nation develops, so does its reputation for producing specialty, arabica coffee.

The Ermera region, which is set in the West Central part of the country, is generally accepted to be one of the best regions producing coffee in the country. The region has a dry, tropical climate, with moderate rainfall in the wet season, and mountainous terrain, with altitudes of up to 1900 masl.

This coffee is produced by the Rotutu Cooperative, consisting of 24 members from the district. Led by Francisco de Deus, the group has a strong sense of community, and believe that by working together they can ensure the consistent quality of their produce. They have enabled Karst Organics to invest in a new processing plant and irrigation systems, ensuring produce quality and stability for the future.

Starting at £6.95. You will be able to select a grind type (or whole bean) and pack size of your choice.
